Welcome! Berghammer Construction joins as new "vendor member"
Berghammer Construction Corporation is a general contractor serving Southeast Wisconsin. A significant part of our project experience involves non-profits and choice, charter and private schools. An important component of our approach is to sponsor forums and conferences to inform, educate and bring value to existing schools and those in the planning stages. In the process, Berghammer also gathers important feedback. Our next conference is planned for 2013.
SPONSOR MEMBER: The Association
of American Educators (AAE)
is the largest national, non-union, professional educators' organization,
advancing the profession by offering a modern approach to teacher representation
and educational advocacy, as well as promoting professionalism, collaboration
and excellence without a partisan agenda.

Our Focus
The Milwaukee Charter School Advocates began in July 2010 in response to the collective need of charter schools to advocate for the needs of their students. In 2012, the "Advocates" completed a two-year business plan that renewed its commitment to independent charter schools in Milwaukee, WI, primarily through becoming a membership organization.
This new focus means that Milwaukee charter schools will have a strong voice in the legislation, rules and regulations that affect their livelihood and ability to effectively teach children. Autonomy and independence are the cornerstones of operation for our members.
If you would like to join the Advocates as a charter school, charter school support organization, or charter management organization, please call 414-219-9076 or see the membership page.
